Visit Refreshing Nuevo Vallarta

Mexico’s planned resort development of Nuevo Vallarta is only 10 years old and provides travelers with all the comforts of a modern resort town.  Developed along a 3-mile stretch of gold beaches surrounded by tropical landscaping, this midsize tourist town provides the luxury resorts and hotels, modern conveniences and amenities of a large resort town but without the urban sprawl.

Set further within Banderas Bay and bordered by the Sierra Madre mountains, Nuevo Vallarta exemplifies the natural beauty that defines the Riviera Nayarit.  With warmer, humid temperatures ranging from 25°C (77°F) to 32°C (90°F), the climate is ideal for not only travelers but wildlife too.  Near Las Marietas islands, the bay is home to various bird species, Humpback Whales, endangered Caguama sea turtles, dolphins and other marine life.

Nuevo Vallarta is just five minutes north of Puerto Vallarta (PV) and five minutes south of Bucerias and is conveniently located near various historical and cultural attractions in Jalisco and slightly further north in Nayarit.  Not without its own attractions, Nuevo Vallarta has a 300-slip marina, PADI 5-star Career Development Dive Center, and 7 miles (11 kilometers) of winding canals with their own private docks.
