Playa Malpasos
Continuing south from Sayulita beyond Playa Las Cuevas is the long, white sand beach and clear ocean water of Playa Malpasos, where many tourists visit for its beauty. Framed by tall palm trees, this remote beach extends into the open sea with minimal rocks and is primarily for sightseeing. Swimming is discouraged since this part of the ocean has a dangerous undertow. To find Playa Malpasos beach, hike through a jungle path from Playa Centro or Calle M. Navarrete heading straight through the open gate towards the left.
